Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing Catawise from the Shopify App Store or using catawise.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

“Catawise” means the Catawise product visibility audit application, its website at catawise.com, and the associated services operated by Krnic (Belgium).

2. Description of service

Catawise is a read-primarily Shopify app that audits product catalog data quality for Google Shopping visibility. The app:

• Reads your Shopify product data via the Shopify Admin API
• Generates a Catalog Visibility Score and issue report
• Provides AI-generated fix suggestions for identified issues
• Applies approved fixes to your Shopify catalog only after your explicit confirmation
• Provides one-click Undo for every change applied through the app

Catawise does not submit product feeds to Google, manage Google Merchant Center accounts, or guarantee any specific Google Shopping outcome.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for any changes applied to your Shopify catalog, even when suggested by Catawise AI
• You must review every suggested change before applying it
• You must ensure your store complies with Google's Shopping policies independently of Catawise
• You must not use Catawise to process data on behalf of your customers' customers without appropriate data processing agreements
• You must be a duly authorised Shopify store owner or admin

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• The Free plan is permanently free with no credit card required
• Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) are billed monthly through Shopify Billing
• Growth and Pro plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• You may cancel at any time via Shopify App Store → Your apps → Catawise → Cancel subscription. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• Krnic does not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law
• We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

5. Intellectual property

Krnic retains all intellectual property rights in the app, website, detection rules, scoring algorithm, and AI prompt templates. You retain all intellectual property rights in your product data.

Your product data is used solely to deliver the service as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your product data and do not use it to train AI models.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• Catawise is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee that using Catawise will improve your Google Shopping impressions, conversions, or ad performance
• Google's Shopping policies and algorithms are outside our control and may change at any time
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krnic's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Catawise in the 3 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to lost revenue, lost impressions, or ad spend

7. Prohibited use

You must not use Catawise to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the detection rules or AI prompts
• Automate bulk API requests beyond normal app usage patterns
• Resell or white-label the service without written permission

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Catawise if you violate these Terms. On termination for cause, no refund is due. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app.

On uninstall, your data is deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, except where mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify installed merchants of material changes via email with 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
